| To teach your child some great Bible verses. As a cradle-Catholic who attended Catholic school for twelve years, I felt embarrassed that I could not quote Bible verses. I've learned so much from this myself, and am amazed on a daily basis what my children internalize from these catchy songs. When my 4-1/2 year old is tempted to do something bad, I remind her of Psalm 119:11, "I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you." When she disobeys or even hesitates to obey I ask her, "What is Exodus 20:12?" She quickly replies, "Honor your father and mother." The songs are cute, the stories are great, and there are even activities help reinforce the concepts. If you want your child to learn the bible, then get this book - you won't be sorry.
