THIS IS EXCELLENT READING THAT ENHANCE MY UNDERSTANDING OF THE HOLY BIBLE. THE CONCORDENCE IS FANTASTIC, VERY DETAILED. I DO WISH THAT I HAD A VERSION THAT HAD A LARGER PRINT. I AM HAPPY THAT I PURCHACED THIS BIBLE. IT ALMOST CREATES A ENVIRONMENT WHEREAS YOU ARE ACTUALLY IN THE BIBLE VERSE. I WOULD SUGGEST THAT ALL SHOULD GET THIS BIBLE. BUT, REMEMBER...MAKE SURE YOU GET THE LARGER PRINT!

I am very pleased with the smaller size, vinyl cover Dake's Compact Version. The three column layout allows larger letters than the older four column size although it was a larger Bible. If you want a Dake's Bible, you cannot beat the price, quality, and size.

Overall it is a good study bible. However, this edition is printed very lightly and with extra small print which makes it hard for me to read. I have to have extra light to use it. I did not expect that. The cover is vinyl. I thought it would be leather bound. Other than that it is good.

this site sent an imatitation leather (paper cover) 1st edition (July 2006) When I requested an adjustment to rcv the leather bound compact edition this site mistakingly sent the same paperbound edition, (JULY 2006 edition imitation leather not August 2006 leather bound edition) this site is looking into the problem and will resolve it in the near future. Just be wary of the compact leather bound edition inbetween time.

since I purchased my first Dake in 2004 I have been opened up to so much truth. dake was a scholar above scholars. This Bible has a amazing amount of study resources. I have been studying from it for 3 years and I havent covered everything. I would deffinantly recommend this to anyone who is a seeker of truth and to anyone who is in ministry.
