This is the first Dee Brestin Bible study I ever purchased, and while it has been challenging to put the time & effort into the study 5 days a week (with 2 young children) - it has also been very rewarding. Working through the lessons has lasted an average of 10-40 minutes - and it required some quiet time.
It is thoughtful, intensive at times, and even challenging. It goes to the core of SCRIPTURE, and not just what an author thinks. It asks the reader to apply the questions and principles to her own life and I (for one) have been left with a greater sense of confidence than when I began the study.

| Once again Dee Brestin provides a thorough Bible study. She really helps the reader delve into the meat of the 1 Peter. This study was full of useful concepts for women to consider in their daily lives. It would be especially useful to those who are going through major trials, or in a situation where they are being treated unfairly, as many of the lessons have some focus on handling such situations. It is fairly intensive, however. I wouldn't recommend it unless you have 1/2 hour to 45 minutes, 5 days a week to commit to the "homework" part of it...otherwise, you might not get as much out of it as possible. Also, it would be very useful to have recently read John Bunyan's "Pilgrim's Progress" before starting the study, as the author references it fairly often.
