Item Description...
Product Description FEAR NOT TOMORROW? For most of us that is much easier said than done. We live uncertain lives in uncertain times. We long for security and answers but are filled with questions about the unknown. Who will...? What if...? Where can...? When may...? Why not...? Uncertainty all too often grows into worry, anxiety, and fear, which in turn fills us with turmoil, burns up whatever energy we have, and hinders us from enjoying the best of life. This book tackles the fear we face during times of change, uncertainty, and crisis, and reveals how to replace our fears with hope and anticipation. Ruth Graham, having earned her reputation of vulnerability and transparency, demonstrates how to discover the all-sufficiency of God and His power. She shares the truth of her own life, faltering in difficult challenges, failing, and yet always landing in the open arms of a welcoming heavenly father. She takes us into the Word of God, drawing on the lives, fears, struggles, and God-encounters demonstrated through biblical men and women. "If you are hoping to find within these pages ten steps to greater confidence or positive self-talk for conquering anxiety or how to rise above your challenges to reach your destiny, you won't find what you are looking for here at all. This book is not about overcoming your shortcomings to build a better you...it is about discovering that God is worthy of our trust." Discover the all-sufficiency of God and His power. Replace fear with hope and anticipation. Grow in your understanding of who God is. You will never look at tomorrow through the same eyes again.

 | A Perfect Message For Today's Christian Mar 3, 2010 |
| As the daughter of one of America's most famous preachers, Ruth has had the kinds of experiences that effectively witness to the message of Romans 8:28. She is candid and inspirational. With the complexities of today's Christian families, there is positive encouragement, hope, and strength from what she shares. If your faith and worship needs a boost, this is the perfect book for you! | | | | A Book of Substance Jan 14, 2010 |
| This is not the latest 'fad' book that one can skim in an evening and then forget. This is a book to read and think about, maybe a chapter a day at most. The title itself is a 'keeper', and I have tucked it away in my heart, only to bring it out frequently to remind me Who is in control. | | | | Fear Not Tomorrow, God Is Already There Jan 11, 2010 |
If your New Year's resolution is to live each day in faith and not fear, then //Fear Not Tomorrow, God Is Already There: Trusting Him in Uncertain Times//, is the perfect companion for your quest. //Fear Not Tomorrow// follows Ruth Graham's first bestseller, //In Every Pew Sits a Broken Heart//. In the follow up, Graham continues to offer guidance to readers struggling with crisis, fear and uncertainty, challenging them to literally "fear not tomorrow" but rather place trust in God. Graham is not simply riding on the coattails of her pastor father -- she has her own painful life experiences to draw from, such as her divorce, which makes her voice easy to identify with. The author offers a combination of anecdote, authority and practical advice (keep a journal, study God's word, meditate on God's character, and so on) in the format of conversation versus preaching. She ends each chapter with a Bible verse as a point of focus, allowing readers to reflect on her suggestions. The bottom line, according to Graham, is that God is our ultimate caretaker and as hard as that might be to remember during times of uncertainty, He will see us through.

| I bought this for a family member who is going through a tough time. I have not read it personally but did hear Ruth Graham talk about her trials, which are many, and how the Lord sustaind her. I want to borrow it back and read it. I am sure you will get some encouragment for yourself. | | | | Inspirational Jan 7, 2010 |
| Anything by the Graham family is good. This is a good reminder that we are not alone. God is in charge. | | | Write your own review about Fear Not Tomorrow God Is Already There
