Reviews - What do our customers think?
Great Read  Mar 22, 2007
This book is a wonderful resource for any couple that is in the ministry, whether they are newcomers or have been at it a long time. It gives insight into the thoughts and feelings of both pastor and spouse. I appreciated the thought provoking challenges that were given at the end of each section.

Encouraging   Jan 5, 2007
My wife and I have been involved in pasotoral minsirty for the past twenty-five years and found great encouragement within each chapter. Married to a Pastor is a great rescource for those who are just entering the pastorate or for those of us who are seasoned veterans. The content within each chapter is relavant and defines the privileges of serving the kingdom through the pastorate. It's a must read.

For someone serving with him for Him  Jul 7, 2002
Wisdom, personal experience, and encouraging advice make this "guidebook" indispensable for pastor's wives. I found the summary statements at the end of each chapter to be especially helpful. Both of the authors, and the other church leaders' stories included in the book, share about real women handling real situations - and making it through successfully. This book offers valuable information both for young couples going into ministry for the first time and for more mature couples who may need to be reminded what it's all about and that "you are special and God loves you alot."

Not the stereotypical preacher's wife - skip this one  Nov 5, 2001
I read this book during my husband's first year of ministry and my first year of being "the preacher's wife". This book so disappointed me and angered me that I threw it away. The book is written by the men about their wives. It appeared to rely heavily on what I think is the 'stereotype' of a pastor's wife. I would have preferred to read items written more realistically about their struggles, lessons learned, how they handled criticism and expectations from the church community, experiences raising preacher's kids, etc. Instead it reads like rosy depictions of what a preacher's wife should be. My husband read this book with me and was dissapointed with it as well. On the up-note: these pastors speak lovingly of their wives and commitment to marriage and towards the end of the book there were a few pages with good advise.
