Very few Christians have been exposed to good,sound doctrine such as this. Fortunately myself and a number of freinds who had Bible studies were taught this message many years ago.The fellow whom the Lord used to teach us travelled around as a low key evangelist,not welcome in most churches probably because he wouldn't join any.He said he belonged to Jesus and anything beyond this was unneccessary.They didn't realize that what he taught would have brought a peace and security in their lives and that is exactly what Myles Munroe's teaching from this book does.It is a blessing.

In a time where christianity has been loaded down with so many man made rituals and repetitive practices, Myles Munroe's book, Rediscovering the kingdom, peels away the layers of these rituals and side docterines to reveal the true message of christianity. That message is that we can live powerfully because the curse has been removed. We don't have take our lumps and then say, "well that's life." Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil and give us life to the full! It's our job to forcefully take a hold of the kingdom!

This book opens your eyes to the message that Jesus really taught and why He came to earth. Many of the scriptures I've read over the years came alive for me. He teaches you to seek understanding as well as knowledge which is what God wants us to do. I recommend this book especially to those who are beginning their walk with the Lord. They have the opportunity to avoid many of the pit falls life has for those who are ignorant to truth. I found it to be very easy reading. It ignited a hunger to know more about the Kingdom life God intended for us to live. It can be an exciting journey to the road of discovery.
