About the Author
DR. JIMMY MYERS is a licensed professional counselor who works with teenagers and their families. He is the owner and director of The Timothy Center, a unique counseling practice in Austin, Texas, that focuses on helping individuals and families find God's solutions to life's challenges. In addition, he serves as an adjunct professor in the master's programs of Liberty University and Howard Payne University. Previously a youth minister at Hyde Park Baptist Church in Austin, Dr. Myers has spent more than 25 years writing, ministering and speaking nationwide on the subjects of discipleship, teenage life and Christian parenting. Myers and his wife of 28 years, Beth, are the parents of three children.

Dr. Myers' book definitely fills a void in the Christian parenting genre, giving a down-to-earth approach to an extremely difficult yet common problem among countless families in today's society. It offers hope by giving step-by-step instructions to frustrated parents that have reached their limits with their defiant teens.
