God gives Daniel great wisdom and the special power to interpret dreams. The King has a frightening dream, and Daniel interprets the dream, the king makes Daniel and the Hebrews his closest advisors.
The king has a golden statue built and demands that all worship the idol. When Daniel's three friends refuse, Nebuchadnezzar has them thrown into a fiery oven. An angel of God appears and protects them in the furnace.
Daniel becomes the closest advisor to Darius, the new king. Darius issues an edict that all shall worship his statue. Daniel refuses to obey and is thrown into a den of lions. God again protects him, and Darius recognizes that Daniel's God is the true and just God.

This wonderful story from the Bible is an incredible tale of courage and faith.
Invading Babylonian forces capture Jerusalem and carry away many of the city's finest young people, including Daniel and his three young friends. In captivity, the youths are in the king's service and outperform all their rivals - pleasing the king and infuriating their enemies. This DVD captures the highlights of Daniel and his three friends, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, and demonstrates that God still rules over the affairs of men.
Notes: This DVD is probably the greatest in existance for documenting the life of Daniel. The scene with the 3 Hebrew children and the fiery furnace is supreme. You will also see other stories from the Book of Daniel dramatized like the interpretation of the King's dream and the Lion's Den.
