Product Description Jesus tells his disciples that false prophets will arise but that we should not be deceived by them. This, of course, does not mean that all prophesying is false. In fact, Paul admonishes us to "despise not prophesying" (1 Thess. 5:20). When Jesus described the future condition of the Church in the last days, He said that the Church's lifestyle would be "as it was in the days of Lot." But how "was it" in the days of Lot? Rev. Oberst reveals how the lifestyle of Lot reflects some of the worldly elements in the Church today. He compares the modern Church and its vain effort to be accepted by the world with Lot's refusal to stand against the evil of this time. Rev. Oberst pleads with the Church to be a light in the midst of darkness.

America truly is "As It Was in the Days of Lot" Jul 5, 2007
Rev. Oberst has many fabulous insights as to what Jesus told His followers it would be like leading up to His return. We could hardly be closer to "As It Was in the Days of Lot" as a nation than now.
Two books are suggested for corollary reading: "The Vision," by David Wilkerson "The Day of Islam," by Paul Williams
America does not have much longer as the nation we have known and in which we grew up. The fall of the U.S. will likely come in virtually the very same manner as Israel and Judah, which Jeremiah prophesied about so long ago. Read Jeremiah chapters 4 through 18 and insert "America" in the place of Israel/Judah. Jeremiah prophesied warnings for 40 years, and David Wilkerson has prophesied warnings regarding the "Evangelical Church" in America for more than 34 years now.
