We've used Morning and Evening in the past and I found this collection of Spurgeon's works compiled along with a Bible-in-a-year reading and it packed quite a spiritual "wallop" for our family time. The sermon segments fit the Bible passages, and in prayer have paralleled our life situations as well. You know Spurgeon can be trusted as his devotion to Christ is just the right blend of low-hanging and "stretch to reach" fruit that keeps you thinking and desiring to not only long for that next devotion time, but also live out the precepts in the moments between.
