The subject matter for praying is very timely and speaks to the many problems and issues that confronts us as parents today. The author Stormie Omartian seeks to keep parents in constant prayer for their children, by outlining specific prayers for specific situtions. Each topic is personialised and is designed to meet each reader at that particular level of their prayer life. My recent purchase was as a result of other parents having a glympse of the book's content and wanted to have the opportunity to really experience the innermost prayers for which it holds. | Stormie has written the best books on prayer and touches on every possible subject incorporating God's Word to pray by. As you pray these prayers daily for your children you will find personal conviction and eye opening devotions for yourself and others. It is never too late to begin praying for your children and there's always more to pray about when they are adults. |

| The book has prayers for your teens and opposite each prayer you have a place to write your prayer or a journal entry. I can see a priceless opportunity for this book. In later years your grown up teen can read your prayer or comment and possibly use it for their teen as well as the books prayers. The prayers are well written and connects real world issues to spiritual warfare. |

| This book is a powerful tool. I was at my wit's end with my teenagers when a friend gave me this book. It changed my thinking about prayer and helped me to focus the prayers on specifics, using scripture. I saw a change immediately. I cannot control my children, and thanks to the advice in this book, I no longer try. I leave it up to the One who is in control. I give this book to all my friends who are parents, whether new or old. |
