Having read many of the reviews before ordering this Bible, I can verify that the reviews accurately describe the positive aspects and negative features. The cross-reference is like no other Bible I've ever used. For a reader doing biblical research, those features are fantastic.
However, the paper is VERY thin. If you are a reader who marks your pages, you should buy a different Bible. Anything you write on one page will be completely visible on the reverse side.
The only thing I don't remember reading is the WEIGHT of this book. Because it is a large print book, it is quite heavy. If you are thinking of purchasing this as a gift, you should consider if that person can comfortably carry such a heavy book. For example, my elderly mother might find it too heavy for daily use.

| I order this item as a gift for my mother, and it was brand new and sealed very clean(the packaging was worn but the Bible was in excellent condish...My mother couldn't find it in the church and several people looked everywhere, there was momentary havoc. | A wonderful bible full of what's really needed today, A CHAIN-REFERENCE SYSTEM. I am surprised that people are still inventing ways around the tri-unity of our great God, if you are a new christian please read men who have been blessed with a gift of teaching. Look up men such as John Owen, Johnathan Edwards, A.W. Pink, Charles H. Spurgeon, William Ames, and the like, Men who have been time tested.
