I have the privilege of counseling people from all over the world in the area of love, sex, and marriage from the biblical and medical viewpoints. I found that it was my responsibility to love my wife the way Christ loved me. I did not feel like loving her, for rejection is hard to handle. But as I obeyed and discovered how to trove her, slowly developing into the husband God had designed me to be, my wife responded with love just as God had planned and promised. Our story has a happy ending. And the same principles we have used in our marriage will work in yours! They work because they are grounded in biblical truth. out prayer is that this book will be used not just to hold your marriage together, but to unite you and your mate as lovers in a relationship that becomes more wonderful each day.

| As a practicing Christian, I found this book to be very powerful. It made sense and I found myself re reading parts of it very often. It was reassuring, comforting and spoke to my situation very clearly, especially the references to real life situations. I recommend it highly. It is giving me a sense of direction in a time of incredible turmoil and pain. This is BY FAR the most amazing little book, and the author, Ed Wheat, though now deceased, was truly an annointed man of God.
My husband left me out of the blue, and as far as I could see, for no apparent reason. I followed the advice in this book down to the last detail, and my husband and I are more happily married today than we ever were before. I went through times of discouragement, depression, and hopelessness. However, I read this book and gave my marriage to the Lord. Now I know that the Lord had to allow me to go through what was an enormously difficult time in my life, because it was the only thing that was going to change me.
If you are discouraged and feel that there is no hope, even if your husband is having an affair, as mine did, please DO NOT give up. The Lord CAN restore your marriage, heal you, and bring you to a place where you have more love and trust than you ever imagined possible.
