Dr. Woodrow Kroll has done a great service to Christians in providing this book about personal Bible study. He makes it very clear from the start that you can read the Bible from cover-to-cover and yet never meet with God Who gave the Word to us. He then begins to "clear the path" for the pilgrim traveller to meet with the Lord regularly.
Here's a sample of the simplicity of Dr. Kroll's style: "I'm often asked which version of the Bible I think is the best, and I always respond, ""The one you read."" It doesn't matter if you are convinced your version is the most accurate there is. If you don't read it, you won't connect with God."
This would be a great book for a new believer to start out with as a faithful guide to their "alone time" with God.
