Without equal for new christians , IMO! Feb 24, 2007
I cannot begin to recommend this bible highly enough! I have searched for many years for the ideal bible for new christians and this is it! I have been a christian for most of my life, and I absolutely can hardly put this bible down! It is a great Q&A refresher for seasoned christians too , IMHO. On a side note, I purchased the Archaeological Study bible along with this Quest bible and that was the *best* decision I have ever made with regard to bible study materials! David W. |

Wonderful Study Bible Jan 16, 2007
This Bible is a true blessing. It helps me understand things I cannot seem to grasp. It explains things clearly and briefly. I highly recommend this Bible to the young and old alike.

Great Tool Jan 11, 2007
I currently attend college and I am the leader of a bible study here on campus. Usually our studies are conducted inductively and we ask questions to learn more about the specific passages. This tool really helps answer some questions in a way that is understandable and conveyable. The more controversial issues in the Bible that may be interpreted different by different denominations are also stated in the book. It explains breifly both viewpoints and lets you decide for yourself.

NIV Quest Study Bible Jan 9, 2007
Although the NIV (New International Version) Bible is not my first choice because of its poor reading "flow", I really appreciate the NIV Quest Study Bible. It's questions/answers are in the margins where one does not lose their place when wanting a question answered regarding the text. The articles explain the history and expand on certain topics, which is very helpful in getting a greater understanding. I use it along with the New Living Bible (NLB) Life Application Study Bible. The NIV is more traditional and may be more accurate, but the language of the New Living Bible "talks" to me more clearly.

Wonderful tool Nov 9, 2006
I have purchased this Bible for all three of my teenage daughters. I remember how hard it was at their age to understand a lot of the historical and cultural contexts. This Bible has, in its margins, most of the questions that one would ask. Not complex theological questions, yet good solid ones. The answers are well thought out and helpful. My daughters love these. Sometimes, when I am preparing a Sunday School class, I will refer to their Bibles to see what they say on a issue. This is a study Bible in a very approachable format.
